15. How to Send a Payment Request

Path in Zenith: Chats → chat → Send payment request icon

Send a 'Review and Pay' order card right inside the conversation.

Open the customer's chat → click the ₹ 'Send payment request' icon near the message box.
Capture: Chat toolbar. Highlight: the Send payment request icon.
Note: This icon is disabled if the customer hasn't messaged you in the last 24 hours — you'll need to re-open the conversation with a template first (Article 7).

In the order dialog, either enter a quick amount + note, or pick items from your Products (Article 20) — the total auto-calculates.
Capture: Send order dialog. Highlight: the amount and Send button.

Preview the order message → Send.

The customer sees an order card with 'Review and Pay' and pays via UPI/card inside WhatsApp. Status auto-updates to Paid in the chat.

See all transactions anytime: WA Payments → Payment History.

Tips

•Send the payment request while the customer is hot — in the same conversation, not 'kal bhej denge'.
•Request expired? Just resend — a fresh order card is generated.
