9. How to Add & Import Leads
Path in Zenith:
LeadsLeads are prospects. Every new enquiry from a Click-to-WhatsApp ad or a fresh number is auto-created as a lead with its source tagged — no manual entry needed for those.
- 1
Add one lead manually: Leads → 'New Lead' → fill Name, WhatsApp number, Source, Status, and other details → Save.
Capture: New Lead dialog. Highlight: the Source and Status fields. - 2
Bulk import: Leads → Import → 'Bulk Import Leads' → upload your file → map columns → Import.
Capture: Lead import mapping screen. Highlight: the status column mapping. - 3
Work the list from two tabs: Source (leads awaiting their first reply) and Engaged (leads in an active conversation). Use the Status filter (New, Contacted, Interested, Follow Up, Qualified, Converted, Lost) to focus your work.
Capture: Leads list with Source/Engaged tabs and Status filter open. Highlight: the Source/Engaged tabs.
Good to know
- •There is no drag-and-drop kanban board — Leads is a filterable table with Source/Engaged tabs and a Status dropdown, not a visual pipeline you drag cards across.
Tips
- •Review your Lost leads weekly — that's your real market feedback.
- •Automatic leads from Meta Ads arrive with the ad's name as source, so you always know what to talk about first.
