Privacy Policy

At Zenith Code, your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share and protect personal information when you use our website and our services, including our WhatsApp Business messaging platform at app.zenithcode.io.

This policy is issued by Zenith Code, located at Aryan Tower, Beside Prabhawati Hospital, East Jail Road, Ahirtoli, Ranchi-834001, Jharkhand, India ("Zenith Code", "we", "us").

1. Who this policy covers

This policy covers two different groups:

• Website visitors and enquirers — people who visit zenithcode.io or contact us about our services.
• Client businesses — businesses that subscribe to our platform and connect their own WhatsApp Business Account to it.

Where we process information belonging to a client's own customers, we do so on that client's instructions. Section 5 explains this in detail.

2. Information we collect

From website visitors and enquirers

• Name, email address, phone number, company name
• Any information you voluntarily provide when contacting us or requesting a demo
• Basic technical information such as browser type and pages visited

From client businesses

• Account details — name, email, phone number, business name, billing information
• Login credentials (passwords are stored in hashed form)
• Usage data relating to how the client uses the platform

From Meta, on behalf of client businesses — see Section 4 below.

3. How we use your information

• To provide, operate and improve our services
• To communicate with you about your account, updates and support
• To process payments for subscriptions
• To comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

4. WhatsApp Business Platform and Meta data

Zenith Code is a Meta Tech Provider. Our client businesses connect their own WhatsApp Business Accounts to our platform through Meta's Embedded Signup flow.

What we receive from Meta. When a client connects their account, we receive their WhatsApp Business Account ID, business phone numbers, message templates, access tokens, business profile information, and the messages exchanged between that client and their customers.

How we use it. We use this data only to operate the service for that client — displaying their customer conversations in their inbox, sending and receiving messages on their behalf, creating and managing their message templates, managing webhook subscriptions, and displaying account health metrics such as quality rating and messaging limits.

What we do not do.We do not sell this data. We do not use it for advertising. We do not share one client's data with another client. We do not use it to build or train general-purpose models.

Opt-in responsibility. Client businesses are responsible for obtaining opt-in from their own customers before sending template messages, in line with the WhatsApp Business Messaging Policy. Our platform provides opt-out handling and contact blocking controls to support this.

5. Data controller and data processor roles

For information relating to a client's own customers — including WhatsApp messages, phone numbers and contact records — the client business is the data controller (Data Fiduciary) and Zenith Code acts as a data processor(Data Processor) acting on that client's documented instructions.

For information relating to our website visitors and our own client accounts, Zenith Code is the data controller.

6. Sub-processors

We use the following service providers to operate the platform. Each has access only to the data necessary to perform its function:

7. Data retention and deletion

We retain client account data and message data for as long as the client's subscription is active.

Clients may request export or deletion of their data at any time by contacting support@zenithcode.io. We will action verified deletion requests within 30 days, except where we are required to retain records for legal, tax or accounting purposes.

When a client disconnects their WhatsApp Business Account from our platform, we stop processing new data for that account.

8. Data security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect personal data from unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure or destruction. These include encrypted connections, access controls limiting staff access to what is necessary, and hashed storage of credentials.

No system is completely secure. If a data breach affecting your personal data occurs, we will notify affected parties and the relevant authorities as required by law.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you are located, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent
• Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority

If you are a customer of one of our client businessesand wish to exercise your rights over WhatsApp messages or contact details held in that business's account, please contact that business directly. We will assist them in responding to your request.

Indian users have rights under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

10. International data transfers

Some of our sub-processors store or process data outside India. Where this happens, we take steps to ensure the data receives an appropriate level of protection through contractual safeguards with those providers.

11. Cookies

Our website uses cookies for basic functionality and analytics — essential cookies for login and session management, and basic analytics cookies to understand website usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling essential cookies may affect Service functionality.

12. Children

Our services are intended for businesses and are not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy on this page and revise the "Last updated" date above. Significant changes affecting client businesses will be communicated by email.
